# Pricing & Surcharges

Understand everything that can appear on your Linkolis invoice — base fulfillment fees, storage, platform, optional services, and carrier surcharges.

### 1. FULFILLMENT

The base fulfillment fee covers the full preparation and dispatch of your orders:

* Stock reception and put-away
* Order management
* Picking of the 1st item
* Packing and preparation
* Delivery to recipient

The base fee depends on the **weight**, **delivery mode**, and **destination** of your parcel. Volume discounts apply automatically based on your monthly shipment count.

#### Volume discounts

Monthly discounts are automatically applied to your fulfillment fees based on your total shipment volume:

| Monthly volume (parcels) | Discount |
| ------------------------ | -------- |
| 0 – 200                  | 0%       |
| 200 – 1,000              | 5%       |
| 1,000 – 3,000            | 10%      |
| > 3,000                  | 15%      |

#### Picking fees

Picking of the first item is included in the base fee. Each additional item in the same order is charged at a flat rate regardless of size:

**Example:** An order with 3 items → €0.50 × 2 = **€1.00** picking surcharge.

An order can only contain **one Large item**. Large orders with multiple items are not supported.

**How are product sizes defined?**

Linkolis classifies products into three size categories — Small, Medium, and Large — based on their dimensions and volume:

A product is classified as **Large** when its longest side exceeds 100 cm or its total dimensions (L+W+H) exceed 150 cm. Large items require dedicated handling and can only be shipped **one item per order**.

#### How is the parcel weight calculated?

**Gross weight**

The heavier your parcel, the higher the shipping cost.

**Volumetric weight**

For some delivery methods, the cost is based on the **volumetric weight** rather than the gross weight. This applies when shipping bulky but lightweight goods — it can significantly increase the total shipping cost.

Volumetric weight is calculated as follows:

$$Volumetric\ Weight = \frac{Length\ (cm)\ \times\ Width\ (cm)\ \times\ Height\ (cm)}{Volumetric\ Coefficient}$$

The volumetric coefficient is provided by the carrier.

Carriers apply the volumetric weight price when it is **higher than the gross weight** of the parcel.

**Example 1**

* Parcel: 50 × 30 × 20 cm — Gross weight: 3 kg — Coefficient: 5,000
* Volumetric weight = 50 × 30 × 20 / 5,000 = **6 kg**
* 6 kg > 3 kg → you will be **charged for a 6 kg shipment**

**Example 2**

* Parcel: 20 × 20 × 15 cm — Gross weight: 2 kg — Coefficient: 5,000
* Volumetric weight = 20 × 20 × 15 / 5,000 = **1.2 kg**
* 1.2 kg < 2 kg → you will be **charged for a 2 kg shipment**

### 2. STORAGE

Storage is billed per m³ per month, based on the rotation of each SKU:

### 3. PLATFORM

Our platform fee includes:

* Real-time inbound, inventory and order tracking
* Recipient tracking page
* Marketplace and CMS integrations — **€99 / app / month** per connection
* Access to the Linkolis API
* Email support 5 days a week

### 4. OPTIONS & SURCHARGES

#### OPTIONS

Optional services available on request or at order level.

**Delivery with signature:** when this mode is selected, the carrier requires the recipient to sign at the time of delivery. This provides proof of delivery in the event of a dispute. Available on Standard delivery only.

Return reception and restocking is always **free of charge** at Linkolis. Items are checked, restocked, and made available in your inventory automatically.

#### SURCHARGES

Surcharges are fees applied automatically when specific conditions are met. They appear as separate line items on your monthly invoice.

**A. Fuel Surcharge (FSC)**

A variable monthly fee imposed by carriers to account for regional and seasonal fluctuations in fuel costs. Applied as a percentage of the base fulfillment fee.

**Formula:** `Final fee = Base fee × (1 + FSC%)`

**Example:** Base fee of €7.00 with FSC of 2.3% → €7.00 × 1.023 = **€7.16**

**B. Oversized & Overweight Surcharge**

Applied when at least one product in the order has a dimension (length, width, or height) **between 150 cm and 200 cm** when unfolded.

| Any dimension ≥ 150 cm and ≤ 200 cm | **€6.50 / parcel** |

**C. Island & Remote Area Surcharge**

Applied to deliveries to remote or island regions that require special handling or additional routing.

**D. Undeliverable Parcel Surcharge**

Applied when a parcel cannot be delivered due to:

* Incorrect or incomplete delivery address
* Parcel uncollected at a pick-up point after the holding period
* Delivery refused by the recipient

**E. Peak Season Surcharge**

Applied to all shipments dispatched during the annual peak period.

**F. Multi-Item Surcharge**

Orders containing multiple items are processed with additional care to ensure accurate picking and packing. A small fee applies per additional item.

**Example:** An order with 3 items → €0.50 × 2 = **€1.00**

**G. Shipment Document Surcharge**

Applied when customs or administrative documents (commercial invoice, customs declaration, etc.) must be physically attached to the parcel.
